1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Zazu Power ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Zazu Power provides:

• Real-time power outage tracking and notifications
• Community-driven power status reports
• Marketplace for solar panels, generators, and power solutions
• Power schedule and prediction features
• Business analytics for power-dependent businesses

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Not share your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

3.2 Account Types

• Individual Users: For personal use
• Business Users: For commercial listings and analytics

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Submit false power status reports
• Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Service
• Use automated bots or scrapers
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Post fraudulent marketplace listings

5. Marketplace Terms

5.1 Listings

When creating marketplace listings, you:

• Must accurately describe items/services
• Are responsible for pricing and availability
• Must honor inquiries made in good faith
• Cannot list prohibited items (counterfeit goods, stolen items, etc.)

5.2 Transactions

Zazu Power is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not process payments or handle shipping. All transactions are between users. We are not responsible for:

• Quality or condition of items
• Payment disputes
• Delivery or shipping
• Warranties or guarantees

5.3 Fees

Currently, Zazu Power does not charge fees for listings or transactions. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with 30 days' notice.

6. Community Reports

When reporting power status:

• Report accurate information to the best of your knowledge
• Do not manipulate or game the system
• Respect others' privacy
• Do not include sensitive or personal information

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a license to:

• Display, distribute, and promote your content
• Use content to improve our services
• Create derivative works (e.g., translations, reformatting)

7.2 Our Content

All Service content, features, and functionality are owned by Zazu Power and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Temporarily suspend service for maintenance
• Modify or discontinue features
• Experience downtime due to technical issues

9.2 Accuracy of Information

Power status information is crowd-sourced and may not always be accurate. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of power status reports
• Reliability of predictions
• Completeness of schedule data

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZAZU POWER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zazu Power from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the Service
• Request account deletion

Upon termination:

• Your access will be revoked immediately
• Your content may be removed
• Some data may be retained per our Privacy Policy

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, contact us at hi@zazupower.com to resolve the issue.

12.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.3 Arbitration

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via:

• In-app notification
• Email (if provided)
• Posted notice on this page

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, stop using the Service and delete your account.
