Simply tap the big power button on the home screen! When your lights go out, tap "Power OFF". When they come back, tap "Power ON". It takes 2 seconds and helps your entire community. You can also add notes and report for multiple locations you monitor.

Our accuracy improves with every report! We use community consensus - multiple reports from the same area confirm status. We also track reliability scores for each area. The more active your community, the more accurate the data becomes.

Yes! We take your privacy seriously. Your exact location is never shared publicly. We only use area-level data (like "Kabulonga" or "City Centre"). You can use Zazu completely anonymously - no email or phone number required. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

We only ask for location permission (to show power status in your area) and notifications (to alert you about power changes). Both are optional. You can use the app without granting any permissions, though some features will be limited.
